Apprentice Business Administrator

We are seeking keen, reliable staff to assist us with our growth within the HR and Recruitment department. The successful candidate will come into a team to assist with daily administration tasks to assist the business and build a foundation for future potential within the department.

In addition to working in our office at Bamber Bridge you will attend the local college one day per week.

37.5hrs per week 9am to 5pm, (30mins unpaid lunch.) This includes attendance at college.

Job Type: Full time, 12-24 month contract
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum GCSE’s Including Maths, English between grade 4 & 9
  • Experienced and confident using Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
  • Keeping the electronic files/ HR system up to date with employee information.
  • Managing and maintaining employee records and files including processing variation to contracts as and when required.
  • Managing the onboarding administration for new employees, including obtaining references and carrying out screening.
  • Carry out HR administration processes, assisting the wider team, preparing letters and documents in line with legislation and company policies and procedures.
  • Preparing all letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. flexible working.
  • Supporting the recruitment process, coordinating the candidate's journey and planning ways in which to attract the best talent for the business.
